CHICO, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- Urinals aren't just for men's restrooms anymore: More and more guys are opting to install them in their homes.

That's according to the folks at the online home improvement retailer Improvementdirect.com, who regularly sell the stand-up toilets to male do-it-yourselfers.

Divisional assistant Amy Davison has fielded some of the calls from guys installing home urinals and estimates 70 percent of them want one in a special color to match their bathroom decor.

For instance, one man who was building a sports bar in his home wanted to outfit the room with a black and silver urinal to match the sporty color scheme.

Not many men explain why they want a home urinal, but Davison figures for them, "it's a treat. "

But she does add that some guys have mentioned they want the urinals, "so my wife can't go there."
