According to "Penthouse" sex journalist Ralph Gardner, some women use caller ID to determine if their new beau is a potential stalker.

He knows one woman who dumped a guy she thought was perfect after her caller ID revealed he had called her 30 times in a single weekend and hung up each time.

But not all love lives are being crippled by caller ID. Gardner claims the device has actually sparked some relationships, including a woman whose caller ID revealed her ex still had a crush on her.

He also admits womanizers love the technology because it makes it easier to juggle two women at once because you always know who's calling before picking up the phone.
